Road Trip!

We took another road trip this weekend. This time to Billings. It was our wards turn for youth to do baptisms for the dead. We decided to make it an overnight excursion for our family. We left Friday after school and had made plans to meet my Aunt and cousin for dinner. Unfortunately, their car broke down so we ended up eating by ourselves that evening. We then headed to the hotel and of course, the pool. As you can see, Kaysen was thrilled that the pool included an indoor 90 ft. water slide.

The next morning, Kyle and I got up at 4:30 a.m. to hit the 6 a.m. session at the temple. We beat some of the workers there. The first session was not until 7 a.m. Since it was our first time to the Billings temple, we enjoyed the extra time we had to look around and discover just what a beautiful temple it is. It has one of the prettiest entries I have seen.

We then headed back to the hotel for breakfast, one last trip to the pool and then off to the mall!!
At one o'clock we joined our ward for baptisms. This was Kiera's first time. It was a wonderful day in the temple. Since Kaysen waited so patiently for us in the waiting room we headed to Olive Garden as a reward. We had a great weekend together. Stay tuned for next weekends adventure.......On the road to 40.........
