We were starting to think we would be skipping winter here in Helena this year. No snow & warm temperatures (warm for Montana that is) took us right through the holidays. We were starting to worry that if we didn't get snow soon, we might start getting our seasons mixed up around here and have snow in June (which is not that uncommon in these parts) or maybe even later. This week our temperatures have dropped & this morning it looks like this. Now I was just fine with the no snow, warm temperatures but this weekend we are going skiing back at Big Sky for Kyle's birthday. For him, there could be no better birthday present than fresh powder!
