We are expecting #2!!

That is puppy #2!!! For those of you who don't know, we got our first family pet last Thanksgiving, an adorable little female Shih Tzu puppy, that we named Tikka. She was the best little dog ever. Unfortunately, 3 months after we got her she became ill and we learned she had kidney failure. The vet said that based on her age that she was born with it. We were devastated! We brought her home and tried to nurse her back to health but lost her this past June. Here is one of our favorite pictures of Tikka.

The breeder we bought her from offers a 1 yr. health guarantee so we are entitled to a replacement. Well, she is here! She is 6 wks. old and should be ready for pick up the first part of Nov.

We have had many mixed emotions about getting another dog. They are so darn cute but we didn't know if we could take it emotionally again. But here we are, going down this road one more time. We have all agreed though, if this one doesn't work out, we are done. We haven't decided on a name yet, mostly because we can't all agree on one, so if you have any suggestions we would love to hear them. Oh and by the way, she has many cute litter mates if anyone is interested!
