Playing catch-up!

So it has been a very long time since we last posted.....what can I say? I could blame it on crazy schedules, illness that never seems to leave our family, travel, or I am sure I could find a million other excuses but what it probably boils down to is just plain laziness. It's much more fun to read other blogs than to blog myself. So now I am going to try and play catch up. Here are a few high (and low) lights of the last few months:

In March, the kids had a long weekend so we decided to go to Billings for the weekend. Kyle & I went to the temple, we all went to the mall for a little shopping, spent time at the pool swimming and also had the opportunity to go visit my Aunt Willie and her son, Bob, who we haven't seen in probably 10 or more years. Aunt Willie is my favorite aunt! I spent all of my summers with her growing up and she was my babysitter whenever my parents had to travel. She is very special to me. She is my dad's sister. She will turn 90 years old next week. Go Aunt Willie!!!

The following weekend, Kylene and I attended seminary conference in Great Falls, MT. It was fun and we were with a great bunch of kids. We saw on housing sign-ups that our friends, The Alfreys (Trever's parents) were a host family. Unfortunately, we never got to see them. But it was fun to see a familiar name!

Here is one of the joys of owning a new puppy! Macy has discovered she is now tall enough standing on her back legs to reach the toliet paper roll in the bathroom. And wow is toliet paper fun to play with. This picture shows her pulling the toliet paper from the hallway bathroom into the master bedroom. Good times!

Spring break!!! Ah....at last!! We went home to Utah to visit all of our family! It was great! We enjoyed general conference with everyone, good food, got in a great day of skiing and I had the awesome opportunity to see the Broadway production of Wicked while we were there. Thanks to all of our wonderful family that treat us like queens and kings while we are there. We love and miss them all so very much! You're the best!

Don't want to bore you too much in one post so will close for now. Will post more in the next few days as it is the week of birthdays at our house!

What do you mean, you do not want to bore us? That was the best post I have read in a long time! Thanks for giving the world a glimpse in to all things Jonette.
