Kaysen had a busy day today. First, he went to Starbase. Starbase is a NASA program put on for fifth graders here at the military fort. He will be attending Starbase for 5 days, every other day, all day. Today he tried out the flight simulator and got his call sign "STRIKER". Second, he had his first basketball game of the season. This year he is playing on the fifth grade boys team for his school. They played against another elementary school in the area. They did a great job! Here's a little clip of the action:
Last, we went from basketball to the Pinewood Derby. This year they ran the race a little different. You had to draw to see which lane you got to run in. There were two fast lanes and two slow lanes. It was fun, his truck looked cool and he even won a few races!
