Best Foot Forward!

Way to go Kiera! Kiera was chosen out of 383 8th grade students as the Best Foot Forward student for the month of January. A segment will be shown about Kiera on our local NBC channel starting at the 6 pm news tonight and will continue to run in between prime time programming tonight and the Today show tomorrow. Then occasionally after that. She also gets to choose a non-profit charity that Helena Motors will donate$50 on her behalf. We are so proud of her. Those that know her know she does not like recognition much. She won a gold medal at Science Olympiad state level this year but did not even want to celebrate because her team did not win overall. She also won the Spelling Bee in her class and could go on to the whole school competition but turned it over to the second place winner instead. She accompanied a beautiful musical number yesterday in church and wanted to go home as soon as she was done so no one could pay her a compliment. That's just our little Kiera! We are so proud of her and all of her accomplishments. Way to go Kiera!

That is so cool, Kiera!!! That is such an honor -- you should be proud of yourself. And it is okay to be in the spotlight now and again -- you deserve it!!!
